Jake Jost has a good piece over at WBIR’s Knoxville Talks on the David Davis presser released yesterday.

Republican bloggers as well as Republican officials are calling for 1st District Congressman David Davis to wise up, admit defeat and walk away from challenging primary election returns.

He isn't taking their advice -- yet.

1st District Congressional candidate Rob Russell continues to get zero respect and zero coverage from Hank Hayes and The Kingsport Times-News.

The courts in California, which are more like the courts of Caligula, recently ruled that gays can marry, thus launching the state’s first wave of gay marriages that did not involve Liza Minnelli. While this is great news for California’s leather chaps business, it is a big slap in the face for the voters who will probably overturn this ruling in November.

Nathan Moore is quite perturbed that Obama's recent gaffes/mistakes haven't been given front page coverage by the New York Times. And instead of simply criticizing Obama (because he knows this really isn't a big deal), he does what conservatives do best...complains about a mythical double standard.

As the Democrat primary drags on ad nauseum, I begin to wonder about this process which allows for superdelegates to make a selection in the Democrat primary process.

Last night's results from the Democrat primary in West Virginia (and yes I joked about that) gave a huge margin of victory to Senator Clinton over Senator Obama.

Exit poll data from the Democrat primary in Pennsylvania showed that race was a factor for about 20% of voters, and gender was also a factor for about the same percentage.
