Thoughts on training for the week:
This week was a recovery week and for once I actually appreciated the recovery time and felt myself getting rested and recharged...until the weekend arrived!

Braden’s 2 Year Birthday is October 16, 2008. Unfortunately, John has just left for another run and won’t be back until 2 weeks from now.

So he’ll be gone on Braden’s birthday. Well, darn.

Sometimes, from the outside, it’s hard to understand if you’re misunderstanding what’s going on in the Republican party, and I have been in the middle of my own panic, so I may have missed this.  But doesn’t it seem like we’re witnessing something very, very important just below the surface?

I am in a foul mood this morning. Grumpy kids, nervous about first Masters class, didn't get enough sleep, feeling like a disappointment, ugh. I have a little video I watch that a good friend sent me once when I was in a bad mood so I thought I would share it here.

I sold my first thing on craigslist today - Lily's Pottery Barn Kids kitchen set. I had two offers within an hour of putting the listing up. I love technology, and I have been thinking about writing a blog about all the ways technology has changed the way I do things. More specifically, my productivity has increased a great deal due to some cool Firefox add-ons and iPhone apps.
