I made spaghetti and meatballs tonight, channeling my inner Tyler Florence, pan searing meatballs loaded with garlic, basil, and a little chili pepper, rolling them in Italian breadcrumbs and roasting them in the oven before adding them to a thick tomato and basil spaghetti sauce. Even the picky 10 year old kid ate with more enthusiasm than usual.

Our favorite RINO (and sacrificial lamb) was apparently on Leno last night. I don’t watch Leno, never have, never will, so I mercifully missed it. Michelle didn’t, however.

Senator Bob Corker doesn’t see his role in as any different in the age of Obama:

Corker, reached Friday on a fact-finding trip to Russia, said nothing about his duties will change with a new administration.

In Uganda, I bought a few $1 bracelets for my daughters and a wooden car for my son.  I handed the man in the market my money and he handed me a small plastic bag and some coins.  “Thank you,” I said and turned to walk away.

“Vote Obama for change!” he shouted after me.

I was stunned.  What does this man know about the election in America, still many months away?
