The powers that be at Lean Left have been kind enough to grant me blogging privileges - at least until i start focusing on Britney Spears and/or American Idol.  I would like to thank them for this privilege, and excepting my pathological inability to spell, I will try not and embarrass anyone.

So all the talking heads are saying Biden now. I don’t know, I just don’t feel it. Of course a lot of folks are also still saying Hillary, but I don’t feel that one coming either.

Wes Clark, the General who made the news a few weeks ago for repeating back a phrase used by Bob Sheifer, is going to be in town this week fund raising for Bob Tuke:

Fred Thompson, in a speech to the National Right To Life Committee, has a few choice words for that so-and-so Wesley Clark and his comments about John McCain’s military record:

As a veteran (Desert Storm) myself, I get cranky when Democrats tuck tail on issues related to the military. As Brandon Friedman states eloquently on the Vote Vets blog, there is no reason to cede authority on military matters just because of John McCain's service during Vietnam.

While Mike Padgett may have ever so slightly higher name recognition than Bob Tuke according to one Republican poll, it appears that the former Democratic Party Chair has higher name-id outside of Tennessee.

Wesley Clark, a Four-Star General (ret.), was the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO from 1997 to 2000 and a Democratic candidate for President in 2004.
