So I’ve got my Dressin’ made (ixnay on the Uffin-stay talk in the South) and I’m about to get myself cleaned up but I have to take a second and reflect on the signifigance of Thanksgiving. 

While I enjoy those of you who do Feel Good Friday - I'd much rather not participate myself.  Melancholy Monday? Now, especially recently,  that's something a little more up my alley.

The most melancholy song I've heard as of late is one a friend wrote, that I obviously can't share, but it touched me somewhere deep.

These are the people and the mindset that must be defeated in this election.  Americans being unAmerican, ignorant and racist… what Palin calls “the real America.”

sometimes i do my best to make my thoughts pretty and selective and organized when i write for my blog. because that is what smart bloggers do, right?

When I finished my plan for the 2008 Student Conference on the Death Penalty I had set a goal for an attendance of 100 students from across the state of Tennessee. My thinking was that if I did the work necessary to accomplish the goal and maintained the mindset of a 100 person conference, that the attendance would be strong.
