Yesterday morning, I saw C for about twenty minutes. She woke up in a good mood, and we changed her clothes, got her in the car, and I dropped her off at my mom’s house.

When she got home last night, around seven because Katie had to take her car to the shop, she was already cranky and tired.

Tonight Katie is going to be at a dinner for a journalism conference at UT. It’s pretty cool, and it makes me proud to be her husband that she gets to speak at such things. And I had hoped I could go to the dinner with her, but since we have no childcare for tonight, it’s not to be.

And I’m kinda bummed about it.
