polling locations

The Nashville Post team is reporting steady lines at polling locations, but nothing major in terms of long, oppressive lines.

I early voted, but I went out for lunch to day and cruised by a couple of polling locations while I was out.  Here’s what I saw:

MSNBC had a live shot from one of the polling locations in Nashville (didn’t recognize it, I think Belle Meade), and it was at least 100 long.

Early voting starts tomorrow (Friday) at 10 AM at polling locations across Tennessee. In most of the state a photo ID or voter registration card is appreciated in Memphis a copy of your latest obituary will work also.

As the Democrat primary drags on ad nauseum, I begin to wonder about this process which allows for superdelegates to make a selection in the Democrat primary process.

We know that Democrats largely oppose voter I.D. laws because they want the illegal immigrant vote. Many Democrats also want felons to be able to vote. We also know that Democrats regularly accuse Republicans of trying to disenfranchise their voters.
