Rep. Steve Cohen of Memphis is pleased to see Sen. Obama back a proposal to increase the FDIC insurance rate from 100K to 200K. On the 22nd of this month, Rep. Cohen introduced a bill to that effect:

Senator Kurita has a most definite up-hill battle as a write-in candidate. Her only hope, would be to maintain the vast majority of her primary voters and add the GOP faithful to her flock.
