aspirin

Two months or so ago I started experiencing some serious neck pain. Not being one to take care of things quickly, I ignored it and just took aspirin. It didn't go away. And my left arm started going numb and losing its strength almost completely.

My first thought when I read(here) that Rush Limbaugh has signed with Clear Channel for a gazillion dollars through 2016, is Clear Channel wants to have Rush on the air through the two terms of President Obama's tenure in the White House to keep the fighting between the left and the right going.

It would seem that, to White Supremacists, Obama in the presidency would be akin to war in the Middle East for a certain breed of evangelical. Evidence that the end is near. From David Duke:

This is a story about ME. I’ve come down with a fever. I’m hot all the time. I can’t breathe. I break out in a sweat, and I have no energy. I’m so uncomfortable. It’s so hot. Nothing makes my fever go away, not aspirin, not ice-cold baths, nothing.

So I went to a doctor. The doctor says I have cancer. So I got a second opinion. And a third. They all said I have cancer.

I have got to stop being sick just to get some downtime. I mean, no, I’m not getting sick intentionally, but the net effect of being sick is that I get to be low-key, which ends up being kind of nice (if you overlook the whole watery-eyes, runny-nose, sneezing, coughing, headache-y, feverish part), but it shouldn’t take being sick to relax, right? Right.

Ugh. Pass the tissue and aspirin, please. And a blanket. I’m chillin’ out over here, literally.

I hardly ever remember my dreams. And if I'm reading someone's blog and they start talking about a dream, I go on about my merry way without reading.

However, two nights ago I had a major tornado dream. The sky looked like the sky toward the end of the Wizard of Oz, except instead of flying monkeys, the sky was full of tornadoes of all sizes. And I was running from shelter to ditch with several folks, playing dodge the next twister.

 
First hour went to Edwards.

Second hour went to Obama.

Of course that’s just my opinion.

Food allergies. Sure, I can't consume alcohol and my eyes swell when I take aspirin or ibuprofen. But I don't need any of those things to survive or enjoy myself. But if the day ever comes that I'm allergic to food? Just kill me.
