Beginning July 1, the tickets will be for real, and carry a fine of $50.

The city of Murfreesboro decided to install red light cameras at six major intersections.

The first red light cameras have been installed in Murfreesboro.

Three of seven cameras are posted at three intersections including the intersection of Memorial and Northfield boulevards.
