The thing about Carlin is that he often made total sense in his own outrageous and comic way. He wasn't afraid to touch on sensitive moral and political issues. Tell us what ya really think George!! I've read damned near everything I could find on the death of George Carlin and nothing - nothing at all - sums him up so eloquently, so poignantly, so perfectly as John Nichols' piece here. Lordy I miss him now more than when I first heard he passed and the thought of his voice being silenced just sends dark chills down my spine.
