Whoopiteedoo.  While I rejoice and celebrate the 4th of July and take pride in being an American, the 4th of July this year begs me to answer just one question.  Do I catch up on housework tomorrow or do I just laze around or play all day? 

By the end of the day I was suffering from a migrane so bad I was about in tears.  But I took four Tylenol and am feeling much better now.  The Butcher and I ended up relooking at two houses–one on Kentucky and one on Litton.

I love them both.

But I don’t know if I want to buy either of them.

One of the reasons I fell in love with my house is that the two tub/shower combo units have these privacy windows over them. That way you can get some natural light in while you shower, assuming of course that you’re showing during the day.

When I entered middle school my family moved to a house in Madison Wisconsin. It was our house, our walls, inside and out, and with that it began to take shape and look like our family. Somewhere early on, my mom painted some dancing, flowy stick figures of us on the garage door.

Today I am thankful for:

~David in a cardigan with elbow patches, looking all Sexy Professor.

~buying a belt for Pea and having her react like we had bought her a pony.

~grandparents taking care of Pea for the weekend so we could celebrate my birthday, Valentine’s Day, marriage, etcetera.

~Pea throwing her hands in the air at the end of a don’t-touch-me, don’t-talk-to-me, don’t-look-at me tantrum and saying, "now I’m ready for som
