When I get bored I find odd things to do. I have drunk (drank, drinked, dronked?…whatever) too much coffee much too late in the day. I really don’t want to watch the World Series right now and I just walked away from reading. My wife is conked out on the couch sawing lumber and I am waiting on the last of our laundry to be done. I have been thinking about this lately as I struggle to keep up with housework and laundry for a house of 5 people while training for an Ironman. The strange truth is, I like doing the housework. Find more posts like this: I love September 30. It is one of my favorite days of the year. Because a few years ago The Beautiful Bride was born. and that makes it a great day. And like always we did something very special to celebrate this very special day. In the past we have gone to dinner, or painted pottery, or baked a cake. If Dante had it right9

Find more posts like this: It was just over a month ago that we were trudging through the hottest, sweatiest days of the summer, and yet here we are, at the end of September, freezing our bums off. While technically speaking the temperature has not been freezing, it has been hovering around 60 degrees F (about 15 C, I think), and has felt downright cold for the last week or so. guess it’s my turn |
