BAGHDAD - It’s Father’s Day, so at the end of the service this evening the Chaplain asked all the fathers to stand for a blessing. Of the 50 people there, I counted only four still in their seats. Granted, I serve in a headquarters, so we’re an older bunch–meaning that there are probably more Dads here than in most units.

I’ve had a pretty tough day today at work. It’s been one of those days when at the end of it all, I’ve found myself seriously considering a total career makeover.
I hate days like this when I spend too much energy second-guessing my abilities. I hate it when I begin to take negative feedback received from customers personally.
