Mrs. Wigglebottom has been tagged and I’m so tickled by the idea of my dog being tagged for a meme that I must instantly participate.

Are we still talking about covers?  I hope so, because I’ve been singing “He’ll Have to Go” all morning.  And I think that listening to these three versions really shows you what artists bring to a song.

On Sunday, I had a late breakfast with Lynn Terry. I met her back in March at the Nashville Geek Breakfast, and we had a great conversation that really got me thinking. We’ve kept in touch through Twitter, and I was so happy to get to see her again.

A New York Times reporter had some interesting things to say about the state of media during a recent trip to Nashville:

I made a decision when I started keeping a blog that it would NOT be a place for my political views. I like to keep them to myself. I don't feel like espousing my viewpoint would really do much to change anyone else's, nor do I want to have to argue with anyone about why I believe what I do. I think that's the beautiful thing about being an American.

Among the interesting things in the news today: Hearings in Ohio on what looks to be a systematic effort by ACORN - a left-wing community organizer group with ties to the Obama campaign - to commit voter registration fraud. Fox News is covering it; the pro-Obama cable networks aren't.
