Saturday:

Got up early and walked to Aqua World where we had our trip to Isla Mujeres scheduled. The tour group "Aqua World" was a very nice touristy company where you could book about a dozen different kind of excursions in the Riviera Maya area.

We are stuck, currently, in a hot & dry weather pattern.  This should stay in place through the rest of our workweek.  Friday does, however, give us a 30% chance at rain.

My laptop is out of commission so I can't post at home...but last night Obama won Wisconsin and Hawaii by very large margins. I know they don't matter (or aren't significant) but I'm having trouble figuring out why. Of course, Hawaii is insignificant because its not a part of the mainland and because its Obama's birthplace; but what about Wisconsin?

Well, I don't have any orange clothes, but I can change the title of my blog to orange for a day in recognition of the ACLU's call to close Guantanamo. Also, I'm coming up on the year anniversary of when my essay on Iraq was voted to be the first user submitted editorial printed in Politico...reposted below:
