I was putting Jett to bed last night and he prayed…

“Dear God, thank you for my family and friends. Please help Kellen Winslow score a touchdown tonight so I can win my fantasy game and  please send an angel to protect me tonight from bad guys and monsters.”

The geek in me paused for a moment after seeing this to thank him for all the wasted late nights sessions augmented by Sundrop and Doritos... Needs to roll a 17 or above to save … rolls a 16.

AP is reporting that Dungeons & Dragons co-creator Gary Gygax has died. He was 69.

“MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AP) — Gary Gygax, who co-created the fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.”

Gygax was the name of my first D&D character ever (an neutral elven thief).

Gary Gygax is dead. Long live Gary Gygax.

Gary Gygax has died.
