State Sen. Rosalind Kurita's lawyer urged a federal judge today to put her name back on the Nov. 4 ballot as the Democratic nominee. After a three-hour hearing, Judge Robert Echols said he'd rule early next week.

Great to see Erik Cole, who also sits as the Chairperson for the Homelessness Commission, involved in this effort, although I figured he would be back when I first posted on this development.  Cole's relaxed yet effective manner can often soothe ruffled feathers while moving the agenda item forward.
