The outdoor crowd was so massive that many were unable to hear Palin speak, so about midway through the Alaska governor’s remarks, some of them tried to take matters into their own hands, shouting in unison, “We can’t hear you!”

Republican VP nominee and self-dubbed “hockey mom,” Sarah Palin, was booed heartily by hockey fans when she and Piper and Willow showed up for the puck drop at a Flyers/Rangers match.

Palin linked to Anti-American group

The Alaska Independence Party, inconveniently for Palin, the very same secessionist party that her husband, Todd, belonged to for seven years and that she sent a shout-out to as Alaska governor earlier this year. (“Keep up the good work,” Palin told AIP members. “And God bless you.”)

The Knoxville News-Sentinel is reporting that David Kernell, a University of Tennessee student and state Rep. Mike Kernell's (D-Memphis) son, will be arraigned before a federal judge today in Knoxville on charges that he illegally accessed Yahoo!
