Its all over folks, call it a day, move to Canada, Barack Obama is going to lose.

Why? Well, first he was friendly with a Professor of Education at the University of Chicago.

Second, a group of quasi-socialists once endorsed his candidacy.

And third? Well, Obama was a civil rights lawyer who once fought discrimination in the mortgage industry.

This is an excellent read from The American Prospect on just how we got into the financial mess we’re in today. It’s from an explicitly liberal magazine, but it’s very well argued, I think, and goes into a lot of detail. The kicker? It was published over a year ago.

Readers here will, no doubt, be familiar with my disapproval for most things Democratic (as in Democratic Party). High on that list are the usual suspects rounded up when talking about allies of the Democratic Party and their common goals of bigger government, higher taxes, weak defense, restricted liberties and reduced transparency.

I’m laying here waiting for the doctor to call me back since, due to girly problems the likes of which I hope to never, ever experience again, I can’t really manage much but bed and bathroom.  And a good self-pity cry.

Here is my new list for today:

1.  Rent a truck.

2.  Arrange for someone to clean this place next week.
