Seems like a great idea to me, since when I started this blog, I didn't have very many readers (not that I have tons now). I'm guessing most of you never saw my earliest posts, so this old material will be new to you.

I don’t read The Nashville Scene that often anymore. So my opinion of them as a respectable alternative weekly paper, going after bad boys in government and culture, boldly writing and printing stories no one else had the guts to - that assessment of the Scene might be forgiven. It’s how I remember The Scene back in the day.

The conservative blogosphere is none too pleased with a negative profile piece of think tanker Drew Johnson in the Nashville Scene:
