strange reason

Sometimes I come into work early and the only coffee shop that’s open (other than McDonald’s, which doesn’t exactly make what I would call coffee) is Starbucks. They’re open at 5:30AM and I’m usually to the office no later than 6AM, so it’s my only good choice for coffee. I also happen to really like Starbucks coffee.

I heard this on Glen Beck's radio show last week (Nashville doesn't air the show live in it's proper AM timeslot for some strange reason..a good thing, I suppose, because I could never catch it if it wasn't delayed until 5:00 PM) on 1510 WLAC and sure enough, some wag has posted it on You Tube. Just for the record, I’m not an Obama supporter at all. At all. Yet for some strange reason I find myself defending him more often than not.

I saw the headlines late yesterday trumpeting Obama’s resignation from the church he’s attended for years. I was immediately horrified.
