A movie has been made comparing just war theory and Christian non-violence.  You’d think I’d love it.  I didn’t.

Yesterday morning, I was on the phone with several friends in Israel. As usual, I was awake during the night and had the news on when a terrorist bulldozed its way down Jaffa Street, killing several people and injuring dozens more.

Knowing the location, had the bulldozer not been stopped where it was stopped, hundreds could have been killed at a very busy market nearby.

When the announcement of a trip to the Middle East by V.P. Cheney was made, reports said it was a push for a peace deal between Israel and Palestine. But the V.P. was there to also say that after 5 years of American-led warfare in Iraq the U.S. and the Iraqis were living in the best of all possible worlds.

Gabriella (age seven) got a birthday party invitation yesterday from a homeschool friend of hers.  Bless her heart it’s an “around the world celebration” birthday party.
